Special Installment of ‘America’s Got Talent’ to Launch in January; One of Time Magazine’s Persons of the Year to Host

A special installment of NBC’s competition show “America’s Got Talent” is coming in January, with “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Terry Crews set to host the series. “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” will feature the star-studded judges panel from “America’s Got Talent” — executive producer Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.

Crews was named one of Time magazine’s 2017 Persons of the Year as one of the “Silence Breakers.” He recently starred in the summer releases “Deadpool 2” and “Sorry to Bother You.” His comedy series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine is set to make its NBC debut in midseason.
