“A mom and pop inside-out bagel shop has sold for $34 million,” reports the New York Post.

The story, by Jennifer Gould Keil, adds, “Nick and Elyse Oleksak sold their company, Bantam Bagels, to T. Marzetti Co., a subsidiary of Lancaster Colony, five years after launching it from their [Brooklyn, New York] Park Slope apartment.

“The couple, who also received a ‘Shark Tank’ investment from Lori Greiner in 2015, will continue to operate the business, which is a calzoni-style ‘inside-out’ take on New York’s classic bagel schmear combos.”
