Bob Saget Lands Regular TV Spot — In a Role That’s a Lot Like How We’re Used to Seeing Him

Fans and non-fans alike of Bob Saget may be interested to learn that the comedian, actor and former longtime host of ABC’s “America’s Funniest Home Videos” has just landed another video clip hosting job on TV. Saget will be back on ABC, this time hosting the new “AFHV” offshoot “Videos After Dark.”

The announcement was made today by ABC, along with the news that the network is picking up the 30th and 31st seasons of “America’s Funniest Home Videos.” The series is ABC’s longest-running prime-time entertainment show.

“Videos After Dark,” ABC says, will feature home videos with “an edgier twist.” The show comes from the producers of “America’s Funniest.”

Saget hosted “America’s Funniest Home Videos” from 1989-1997. The show is now hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro.
