A member of the production team working in Mount Lebanon, Pa., on the upcoming Tom Hanks movie about children’s television icon Mister Rogers was killed in a fall on the set, USA Today reports.

“Police said James Emswiller, who is listed as a sound mixer on his IMDb page, was on a break between scenes around 7:30 p.m. EDT Thursday when he went over a brick wall on the balcony of an apartment building and fell two stories,” USA Today reports.

Emswiller, 61, may have experienced a medical issue just before falling, according to a report by WPXI-TV. Emswiller, who lived in the Pittsburgh area, “took a smoke break between filming scenes for ‘You Are My Friend’ on Shady Drive when others nearby said they heard a noise and discovered he had fallen from a balcony, police said,” WPXI reports.

Mount Lebanon Police Chief Aaron Lauth reported that Emswiller was transported to the University of Pittsburgh’s medical center, where his condition became critical. He died about an hour after the fall.
