Drama Series Featuring Three-Time Oscar Nominee Picks Up Renewal

An acclaimed drama series featuring a three-time Academy Award nominee is set to return for a third season, with the news that Netflix has renewed “Ozark.”

Along with Golden Globe winner and four-time Emmy nominee Jason Bateman, the series stars awards circuit fixture Laura Linney. Linney is a three-time Oscar nominee for “The Savages,” “Kinsey” and “You Can Count on Me,” a two-time Golden Globe winner and six-time Globe nominee, and a four-time Emmy winner, for “The Big C,” “John Adams,” “Frasier” and “Wild Iris.”

The third season of “Ozark” will consist of 10 episodes.

Bateman directed multiple episodes of the series over its first two seasons along with serving as an executive producer. the show is produced by Bateman’s Aggregate Films in association with Media Rights Capital for Netflix.
