A former correspondent for Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” will debut his new show this month, although according to a trailer released today for the show, there’s a chance he will be framed for murder.

If things go according to plan, Netflix will premiere “Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj” on Oct. 28, with new episodes to come out every Sunday.

Netflix has committed to what the streamer says is an unprecedented 32-episode order that makes Minhaj the first Indian-American host of a weekly comedy show.

“Minhaj’s weekly comedy show will explore the modern cultural and political landscape with depth and sincerity. Each week, Minhaj will bring his unique comedic voice and storytelling skill to investigate the larger trends shaping our fragmented world,” the streamer says in today’s announcement.
