Harvey Weinstein Faces New Allegation

A new accuser has come forward with a sordid allegation against disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. The New York Post reports that a woman identified in court papers as Jane Doe says Weinstein sexually assaulted her in 2002, when she was an aspiring actress and a 16-year-old virgin.

The allegation is detailed in an amended federal class-action racketeering lawsuit filed today in Manhattan. The woman is reportedly the 10th alleged victim to join the suit, which accuses Weinstein, the Weinstein Company and Miramax of assault, battery and racketeering

“The woman, a former model from Poland … said that after agreeing to meet for a business lunch in 2002, Weinstein instead took her to his Soho apartment,” The Post reports.

The suit reportedly says: “Weinstein wasted no time in aggressively and threateningly demanding sex.”

The Post reports: “He told the distraught starlet that if she wanted to be an actress she had to give in to his perverted desires.”

The filing states: “He then took off his pants and forcibly held Jane Doe while taking her hand and making her touch and massage his penis.”

Adds The Post: “Weinstein allegedly became enraged when the terrified teen objected and refused to let her leave — but eventually relented, the suit says.”

The report adds that Weinstein continued to pursue the model for the next 10 years.

TMZ quotes Weinstein’s criminal lawyer Ben Brafman saying in response to the new allegation: “This claim is preposterous. Like so many other women in this case who have already been exposed as liars, this latest completely uncorroborated allegation that is almost 20 years old will also be shown to be patently false.”
