New CBS Series Snags Choice Slot Leading Out From Super Bowl

CBS will premiere a new series in the time slot leading out from the network’s broadcast of Super Bowl LIII on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019. The network announced plans today to broadcast the premiere of the competition series “The World’s Best” in the slot.

James Corden hosts the show, with Drew Barrymore, RuPaul Charles and Faith Hill as the three American judges. The 10-episode series comes from two of the most prolific unscripted producers in television, Mike Darnell (“American Idol” and “Ellen’s Game of Games”) and Mark Burnett (“Survivor,” “The Voice”).

The talent competition features elite acts from around the world.
