An actor who plays one of the main characters on the Showtime drama series “Ray Donovan” was arrested Wednesday night. The New York Post’s Page Six reports that Marion “Pooch” Hall, who plays Daryll Donovan on the series, was booked on suspicion of DUI and child endangerment.

The report cites a public information officer saying Hall was taken into custody after officers responded to a vehicle that hit a parked vehicle in Burbank, Calif., around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

“We’re told that witnesses reported Hall was weaving in and out of traffic with a small child on his lap, but that officers ‘don’t know that the child was actually driving’ the vehicle,” The Post reports. The officer is quoted saying: “It’s more like he was sitting unrestrained on his lap.”

“The child, who was later discovered to be 2, was released into his mother’s custody at the scene,” The Post reports. “Hall was not able to perform field sobriety tests at the time and preliminary tests showed that his blood alcohol content was almost three times the legal limit.”

Hall, 41, was said to be in custody on $100,000 bail, with a court date set for Friday.
