TV game show icon Bob Barker was rushed to a hospital after paramedics from the L.A. Fire Department responded to a call Monday at his home in the Hollywood Hills, TMZ reports.
The longtime “Price Is Right” host was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital.
“His manager tells us, Bob woke up Monday morning with a major flare in back pain. His family decided to call in the professionals to transport him to the hospital … rather than risk it themselves,” TMZ reports. “94-year-old Bob suffered a nasty fall last year that required medical care … and we’re told he’d just gone to the hospital last week for a follow-up visit related to that fall.”
Barker, who turns 95 in December, hosted CBS’s “The Price Is Right” from 1972-2007. He is also known for hosting “Truth or Consequences” from 1956-1974.
