Apple just doubled down on its push into creating original content, entering into a multiyear deal with production company A24 to produce original films.

CNBC reports that the movies are likely to be offered as part of Apple’s upcoming original content service. The report cites sources saying the service will be offered for free on Apple devices starting in 2019.

“The company plans to give away free movies and TV shows to device owners sometime next year as part of a strategy to build consumer loyalty, according to several sources familiar with negotiations,” CNBC reports.

A24 has released a string of Academy Award-winning films such as “Room,” “Amy,” “Lady Bird” and “Moonlight.”

Terms of the deal were not revealed.
