If you find yourself with extra time on your hands over the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend, it may be an opportunity to watch some good TV — and one miniseries currently on Netflix, “The Honorable Woman,” has received a strong endorsement from critic Tim Goodman, writing for The Hollywood Reporter.
The Peabody Award-winning series originally came out in 2014, airing in the U.S. on Sundance TV.
“This is a series that succeeds on the back of some truly top-tier dramatic performances, starting with [Maggie] Gyllenhaal and including one of my favorite turns from Stephen Rea, an actor who is good in almost everything he does but is sublime here,” Goodman writes. “Also Janet McTeer, another effortlessly reliable actress.”
