The cable network that will finish 2018 as the fastest-growing cable entertainment network in prime time will post double-digit growth for the second consecutive year. That network is Oxygen, which is poised to post 15% growth year over year.

Oxygen says it has had 27 consecutive months of year-over-year growth in total viewers in total day, adding: “Every month in 2018 has been Oxygen’s best month in at least 5 years.”

The network’s ratings momentum spans a variety of its true-crime programs, including event series, investigation series and self-contained series.

“Event series ‘Aaron Hernandez Uncovered’ was Oxygen’s highest-rated true-crime program in network history with 487K P18-49 and 1.05 Million total viewers,” Oxygen said. “Investigation series ‘Unspeakable Crime: The Killing of Jessica Chambers’ was Oxygen’s highest-rated weekly premiering series since the true crime rebrand among P18-49 and F25-54.”

The announcement adds: “Self-contained true-crime series ‘Killer Couples’ is up +49% versus last season and is on pace to deliver its best season in over 4 years among total viewers.”
