Tesla CEO Elon Musk tore into the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission over the weekend, providing tough talk during an appearance on CBS’s “60 Minutes” that apparently raised questions about whether he intends to comply with the agency’s requirement that his Twitter account be monitored.
The requirement stems from the SEC’s settlement with Musk over allegations of securities fraud related to his tweets.
CBS reports that Musk “indicated he’s still tweeting with no oversight.”
“I want to be clear: I do not respect the SEC,” Musk told CBS’s Lesley Stahl.
