Lifetime Takes Wraps Off Winter Movie Slate

Lifetime unveiled a lineup of new original movies and acquired films that will begin airing next month.

Golden Globe and Emmy nominees Christina Ricci, Judith Light and Josh Bowman kick off hte premieres Jan. 29 with “Escaping the Madhouse: The Nellie Bly Story,” a biopic about the pioneering investigative reporter.

Academy Award Winner Marcia Gay Harden stars in “Love You to Death,” premiering Jan. 26. Kellie Martin returns for the remake of the cult classic “Death of a Cheerleader, starring Aubrey Peeples and Sarah Dugdale, on Feb. 2.

Victoria Gotti executive produces and narrates “Victoria Gotti: My Father’s Daughter,” starring Chelsea Frei and Maurice Benard, Feb. 9.

International sensation Delta Goodrem takes center stage in “Olivia Newton-John: Hopelessly Devoted to You,” Feb. 16.

Acquired movies rolling out in January are “Best Friend’s Betrayal” and “My Mother’s Split Personalities.”
