Tyra Banks is leaving her job on the NBC competition program “America’s Got Talent” and will focus on producing, The New York Post’s Page Six reports, citing unnamed sources.

The report notes that Banks has been hinting around about exiting the program. She’s quoted telling “Access” in November: “I think I had a really nice run with ‘AGT.’ I had a lot a lot of fun.”

At that time Banks said she was focusing on her Freeform movie sequel, “Life Size-2: A Christmas Eve.” Banks executive produced and starred in the project.

“A source close to Banks told Page Six that after the film’s success this month, Banks has had a raft of offers and will focus on producing television,” The Post reports.

The report adds: “Banks has also been teasing a big 2019 project — she’s previously said she wants to make a ‘Coyote Ugly’ after she starred in the 2000 original with Piper Perabo.”
