Following the death Friday of President George H.W. Bush, plans were unveiled today for the special program “History Remembers George H.W. Bush,” running Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on History.
Bush, the 41st president of the United States, died in Houston after suffering from a form of Parkinson’s disease. He was 94.
“Through rare archival footage, interviews, and speeches, ‘History Remembers George H.W. Bush’ explores the lifetime of service and legacy of a war hero, businessman, family man and the 41st President of the United States,” History said in announcing the program. “Among others, the special also features new interviews with President George H.W. Bush’s former Chief of Staff Jean Becker and Presidential Historian Doug Wead, who also served as Special Assistant to President Bush at the White House.”
The program is produced internally by History.
