Before moving to Las Vegas this band began when two of its members met at BYU. They’re the popular rock group Imagine Dragons, and they will perform at halftime of the College Football Playoff Championship Game on Jan. 7, 2019, reports the Associated Press.

The story continues, “[T]he College Football Playoff will feature a Super Bowl-style halftime performance for the television audience. The school bands will still perform at halftime of the game in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.”

The AP adds that Imagine Dragons will actually be playing “from Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay. The bands’ song ‘Natural’ was used by ESPN as the theme for much of the network’s college football coverage and promotions.”

One of the band’s early hits, “Radioactive,” has the record for spending the most weeks -87- on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

  1. I really wish they would show the school bands at Half-Time. I really don’t need to be told what just happened in the game I watched. They could even just have it in the background while they re-cap the game.
