Cate Blanchett, Michael Keaton, Owen Wilson and Other Stars Align for Return of TV Series

An impressive lineup of stars including Cate Blanchett, John Mulaney, Natasha Lyonne, Michael Keaton and Owen Wilson has been assembled for the return of IFC’s Emmy-nominated “Documentary Now!”

IFC released the trailer today for what it’s calling season 52 of the series, which you can watch below. The series returns Wednesday, Feb. 20.

“At long last, the comedic minds of executive producers Fred Armisen, Bill Hader and Seth Meyers return to IFC to once again lovingly pay tribute to some of the world’s most renowned documentaries in the first full trailer for ‘Season 52’ of ‘Documentary Now!,'” IFC says in today’s announcement.

The show is hosted by Helen Mirren, and some of the other stars on tap this season include Taran Killam, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Bobby Moynihan, Paula Pell, Richard Kind, James Urbaniak and Michael C. Hall.

Co-created by Armisen, Hader, Meyers and Rhys Thomas, the series is produced by Broadway Video. In addition to Armisen, Hader, Meyers and Thomas, “Documentary Now!” is also executive produced by Alex Buono, Lorne Michaels and Broadway Video’s Andrew Singer. Thomas and Buono are the show’s directors.
