The final season of the hit drama series “Homeland” won’t be premiering as planned in June, with Showtime announcing that the season eight rollout has been pushed back to fall. The AP reports that Showtime Entertainment President Gary Levine broke the news Wednesday.
Showtime cited the complexity of the production as the reason for the delay. The network did not provide a specific date for the premiere.
The pay-cable channel has previously said “Homeland” will wrap with a season consisting of 12 episodes.
