An Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe winner will star in a new series coming to HBO. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Kate Winslet will star in “Mare of Easttown,” her first TV project since HBO’s “Mildred Pierce” in 2011.

Winslet is a seven-time Academy Award nominee and won an Oscar in 2009 for “The Reader.” She won an Emmy for “Mildred Pierce” and has taken home four Golden Globes.

In addition to starring, Winslet will executive produce the limited series, in which she will play a small-town detective.

“Creator Brad Ingelsby (‘Run All Night,’ ‘American Woman’) is writing every episode and will serve as showrunner, and Gavin O’Connor (‘The Accountant’) will direct the entire project,” THR notes. “Ingelsby and O’Connor previously collaborated on the feature ‘Torrance,’ starring Ben Affleck.”
