Late-Night Show Renewed

A late-night show just picked up a renewal as part of a new first-look deal announced by Comedy Central. The cable channel announced plans for season three of “The Jim Jefferies Show” along with a deal for content created or developed for TV and digital media.

“The Jim Jefferies Show” will premiere for a 20-episode third season on March 19. The upcoming season will feature Jefferies visiting South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia and South Africa.

Making the announcement were Sarah Babineau and Jonas Larsen, executive vice presidents and co-heads of Talent and Development for Comedy Central. Here’s the full announcement, which includes two amusingly juxtaposed quotes.
