An NBC series has received a renewal from the network for what will be the show’s eighth season. NBC announced the pickup today for season eight of “American Ninja Warrior.”

Production is scheduled to start in the spring, with the show to return this summer. A premiere date will be announced soon.

The three-time Emmy-nominated competition series will make stops in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Baltimore, Seattle/Tacoma and Cincinnati before heading to the National Finals in Las Vegas, NBC said.
