Nominations were announced today for the 46th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, and CBS topped all networks with a massive tally of 61 nominations. The closest any of the other broadcast networks could come was NBC with 38 nominations, followed by ABC with 35.

Syndicated programs ranked high with 55 nominations, while streaming giants Amazon Prime Video and Netflix tied with 49 nods apiece.

Among individual programs it was the NBC stalwart “Days of Our Lives,” which went on the air in 1965, leading the way with 27 nominations, followed by ABC’s “General Hospital” with 25 and CBS’s “The Young and the Restless” with 20. Those three shows, along with CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful” (12 nominations overall) will battle it out in the Daytime Emmys’ most prestigious category, Outstanding Drama Series.

The awards will be presented Sunday, May 5, in a ceremony at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
