With a shakeup apparently taking place at some of the entertainment magazine shows, rumors surfaced that popular “Access Hollywood” host Natalie Morales was being fired from the show, but The New York Post’s Page Six reports that those rumors are not true.

The report says Morales will remain at NBC, and quotes an “Access” executive saying: “Natalie has not been fired. She is and will continue to be a huge part of the NBC family. Our new EP will start next week.”

The Post adds: “A separate source also confirmed to us that Morales, 46, will keep her position as the West Coast correspondent for the ‘Today’ show.”

As we reported separately, “Access” executive producer Rob Silverstein is off the show after overseeing it for 20 years. He will be replaced by Maureen FitzPatrick.

“A report this week claimed Morales was let go from the entertainment show and would be replaced by Mario Lopez, who currently works on ‘Extra.’ Lopez’s news show is set to move to Fox from NBC in fall 2019,” The Post reports. “NBC carefully worded its statement as we’re told Morales will ‘likely’ be leaving ‘Access’ — and Lopez will ‘likely’ be joining the show.”
