One of the most popular series on television will roll out a bonus for its fans in the form of a “making of” feature documentary. HBO announced today that “Game of Thrones: The Last Watch” will premiere May 26 on the pay-cable channel.

The two-hour documentary chronicles the making of the final season of “Game of Thrones.” The documentary’s premiere will take place one week after the series finale.

“For a year, acclaimed British filmmaker Jeanie Finlay was embedded on the set of the hit HBO series ‘Game of Thrones,’ chronicling the creation of the show’s most ambitious and complicated season,” HBO notes in today’s announcement.
