Changes have taken place in the lineup behind the cameras on the CBS drama series “God Friended Me.” Deadline reports that Robby Hull, who was co-executive producer on the show’s first season, was promoted to executive producer and co-showrunner for season two.

“Hull will serve as co-showrunner alongside ‘God Friended Me’ creators/executive producers Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt,” Deadline notes.

The drama series, which aired its season one finale on Sunday, has already been given a renewal for season two.

“‘God Friended Me’ is a humor-tinged uplifting drama about Miles Finer [Brandon Micheal Hall], an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from ‘God’ and unwittingly becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him,” Deadline notes.

Hull is a veteran writer-producer who previously worked on “Gotham” and “Once Upon a Time,” among other shows.
