Gayle King Still Hasn’t Signed Deal to Stay With ‘CBS This Morning’

“Gayle King has still not signed a deal to remain at ‘CBS This Morning,’ and sources tell us that her contract is being batted around by lawyers for both sides,” The New York Post’s Page Six reports.

The report quotes an insider saying: “I don’t know why they don’t just throw $18 million at her and get this done.”

One of the other co-anchors on “CBS This Morning,” Bianna Golodryga, appears to be leaving the network, as we reported separately.

“Meanwhile, ‘CBS Evening News With Jeff Glor’ staffers are waiting to learn if the broadcast will move to Washington, DC, should Norah O’Donnell take over,” The Post adds. The report quotes a source saying: “Hundreds are worried for their jobs.”

The source reportedly added that there are “high odds” that O’Donnell will get the “CBS Evening News” job.

  1. Let her go. She can “star” in an Oprah afternoon talk show.

  2. So, Nora could be gone and Gayle could be gone……so let’s get rid of Bianna. Stop screwing around, CBS. FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU’RE DOING.
(I actually like Jeff Glor and really hope he stays.)
