Peabody Awards Honor TV Programs

The Peabody Awards named nine television programs as unanimous selections by its Board of Jurors to receive honors in Entertainment at the 78th Annual Peabody Awards.

Netflix is the recipient of three of the awards, for “Hannah Gadsby: Nanette,” “Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj” and “The End of the F***ing World.”

HBO and FX Networks each won two Peabodys. HBO was honored for “Barry” and “Random Acts of Flyness,” while FX Networks won for “Pose” and “The Americans.”

NBC was honored for “The Good Place” and BBC America won for “Killing Eve.”

The organization also named its Children’s and Institutional winners, honoring Cartoon Network’s “Steven Universe” in the Children’s category and bestowing the Institutional Award on “Sesame Street.”
