Weatherman Drops F-Bomb on Live TV

Apr 11, 2019  •  Post A Comment

A pretty big gaffe occurred on live TV this morning, where a weatherman apparently wasn’t quite ready for action when NBC’s Al Roker threw it to stations to provide the local forecast.

The New York Post reports that Chris Cimino, morning meteorologist at NBC-New York, apparently didn’t realize his microphone was on when the “Today” show fixture cut to the local station.

Cimino can be heard off-camera, saying, “It’s such a weird f—ing thing — it’s just strange,” in the incident that happened around 8:17 a.m. local time. He continues to speak until his mic is abruptly cut off. Then bells go off and the 10-day forecast graphic continues to appear in silence for about 20 seconds, until the feed cuts back to Roker.

You can watch the incident play out below, but be warned that this is an uncensored clip …

  1. What’s the big deal? When are we going to grow up?

  2. I miss Chris. It was an honest mistake? Not like he said that he likes to grab women’s private parts!! After all the years he served in that position. What a way to go out.!!! I think a slap on the wrist, like public apology would be enough.
