ABC Renews Three Shows

May 10, 2019  •  Post A Comment

ABC just handed out renewals to three prime-time shows, including giving a two-year renewal to “Grey’s Anatomy.” The network also picked up new seasons of “Station 19” and “How to Get Away With Murder.”

All three shows originated from Shonda Rhimes and Shondaland, with news of the renewals coming on the heels of the news that the network has canceled its other Shondaland program, “For the People,” as we reported separately.

The two-season renewal will take “Grey’s Anatomy,” which already holds the record as the longest-running prime-time medical drama in TV history, to seasons 16 and 17.

“Station 19” will return for a third season and “How to Get Away With Murder” will be back for a sixth season.
