CBS Renews Eight Prime-Time Shows

CBS handed out a batch of renewals for the 2019-2020 season, announcing pickups for six dramas and two long-running news programs. The network renewed “SEAL Team,” “S.W.A.T.,” “Madam Secretary,” “Bull,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “MacGyver,” “60 Minutes” and “48 Hours.”

The bulk renewal brings the total number of shows the network has renewed for next season to 18.

“60 Minutes, which has been on the network for 51 years, is averaging 10.9 million viewers on Sunday evenings, while “48 Hours,” now in its 29th season, delivers an audience of 4.4 million on Saturdays.
