All 15 seasons of “The Apprentice,” which was first hosted by Donald Trump and later by Arnold Schwarzenegger, are now available for free on the ad-supported Tubi streaming platform, Deadline reports. The exclusive deal is part of a content partnership between the relatively small Tubi and MGM Television.

“While reality hasn’t always proven to be an especially robust genre in windows beyond its initial live airing, Tubi has been betting otherwise, recently pacting with Warner Bros. for some of ‘The Bachelor‘s’ high-profile real estate,” Deadline notes. “As an ad-supported video on demand (AVOD) platform, Tubi could be headed for a successful exit similar to that of Pluto TV, which was acquired by Viacom for $340 million.”

The report notes that NBCUniversal is also leaning toward AVOD for its 2020 streaming launch.

Tubi CEO Farhad Massoudi is quoted saying: “In our quest to democratize content and make more premium content accessible, we are making a big push into the reality television space.”
