Two Warner Bros. Television veterans were named co-presidents of the studio’s Warner Horizon Scripted Television unit. Variety reports that Susan Rovner and Brett Paul received expanded responsibilities as a result of the moves.

“The pair will work alongside Mike Darnell, who oversees all unscripted programming for Warner Horizon and Telepictures Prods.,” Variety reports. “The promotion means double duty for the duo, who will continue … in their existing roles as exec VPs at Warner Bros. TV, reporting to WBTV Group prexy-chief content officer Peter Roth.”

The report adds: “Rovner oversees development for WBTV and now Warner Horizon Scripted; Paul is WBTV’s top exec overseeing business and production matters. The added duties for the two execs come after Warner Horizon exec VP Craig Erwich opted to step down at the end of his contract. With the growth of Warner Horizon and the migration of talent across network and cable boundaries, Roth said it made ‘perfect sense’ to align all studio scripted operations under Rovner and Paul.”
