One of Hollywood’s biggest stars revealed two reasons she has never watched the HBO hit series “Game of Thrones” — and no, it’s not because she doesn’t have HBO, which is one of the top reasons many of us have never seen it.

Julia Roberts revealed in an interview conducted by Variety that she has never watched the fantasy series, which ends its run this Sunday, May 19. She later offered a couple of reasons: “Too scary,” Roberts told interviewer Patricia Arquette during the segment for “Variety Studio: Actors on Actors.” Roberts then added: “Maybe too much sex.”

“There’s a lot of sex,” Arquette confirmed, adding: “And there’s zombies and stuff.”

To which Roberts replied: “Then it’s for sure not for me.

Roberts won an Oscar in 2001 for “Erin Brockovich,” one of four times she has been nominated for the Academy Award. She is also a three-time Golden Globe winner (for “Erin Brockovich,” “Steel Magnolias” and “Pretty Woman”), nine-time Golden Globe nominee and two-time Emmy nominee.

Variety notes that its “Actors on Actors” will be published in June in a special issue of the magazine timed to coincide with Emmys voting. A companion TV series premieres June 18 on PBS SoCal.
