James Corden, a key player in CBS’s late-night lineup as host of the network’s “Late Late Show,” is developing a new project for Fox. Variety reports that Corden has set up “Dead Henry,” an animated comedy.
The project “is described as a buddy comedy set in the limitless but strangely familiar world of heaven, where Henry searches for the meaning of life in the afterlife,” Variety reports. “Corden is credited as an executive producer and for the story of the potential series.”
Sam Leifer and Ben Turner are writers and executive producers on the project, with Corden executive producing under his Fulwell 73 banner along with Fulwell’s Jeff Grosvenor. Teddy Leifer of Rise Films will also executive produce.
The project is a co-production between CBS Television Studios, Fulwell 73, Rise Films and Fox Entertainment.
