The crisis manager for embattled R&B singer R. Kelly, who’s currently in jail facing sex crime charges, discussed Kelly’s situation during an appearance this week on “CBS This Morning.”
Darrell Johnson said he would not leave his own daughter with an accused pedophile — including Kelly.
“Federal prosecutors in Illinois and New York have charged the musician with a combined 18 counts including child pornography,” CBS News reports in material posted along with the clip of Johnson’s appearance. “Kelly is accused of sexually exploiting women and girls over more than two decades. He has denied all allegations. Kelly is being held in a Chicago jail without bond.”
