It’s been more than a decade since “The L Word” signed off on Showtime, and details of the revival “The L Word: Generation Q” were a highlight of the cable network’s presentation at the Television Critics Association summer press tour last week.
The pay cabler also previewed “The Good Lord Bird,” “Work in Progress,” “On Becoming a God in Central Florida” and “The Circus,” while providing details on the return of staples such as “Shameless,” “Ray Donovan” and “Homeland.”
At the CW presentation, meanwhile, the upcoming 15th and final season of “Supernatural” provided an emotional centerpiece to the festivities, which also spotlighted the upcoming final season of “Arrow.” Also on the agenda was a look at “Nancy Drew” and “Batwoman.”
