Christian Slater, Alec Baldwin and Jamie Dornan (“Once Upon a Time,” the ‘Fifty Shades” movies) will all star in a new TV series, based on a true story, reports Variety.

The series will be called “Dr. Death.” The show will tell the “story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Dornan), a rising star in the Dallas medical community who was building a flourishing neurosurgery practice. But patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries were left permanently maimed or dead. As victims piled up, two fellow surgeons and a young Assistant District Attorney set out to stop him,” according to Variety.

The story has already been a podcast from Wondery.

“Universal Content Productions is in the process of shopping the series to networks and streaming services,” the article says.
