Emmy-Winning Actor Declines Audition with Israeli Producers Because a Previous Series of Theirs Cast Hamas in a Negative Light

An Emmy-winning actor “said in an op-ed today that he declined an audition for a new Netflix series because he didn’t want to work with two Israeli producers previously involved in a television show that casts Hamas in a negative light,” reports Deadline.

The actor is David Clennon, who won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series in “ Dream On” in 1990. He is best known for his role as Miles Dentrell on the classic late-1980s drama series ‘thirtysomething,’ Deadline says.

“In an op-ed for TruthOut.org,” notes the Deadline article, “Clennon said creative executive producers Avi Issacharoff and Lior Raz were involved in the Israeli television series ‘Fauda,’ which depicts a Hamas terrorist being hunted by a Rambo-like soldier from the Israeli Defense Forces.” “Fauda” is also currently available on Netflix.

  1. I guess the true must hurt.

  2. How dare a documentary paint terrorists as… terrorists.

    • Fauda is not a documentary series, it’s a scripted drama

  3. F**K David Clennon!! Oh, wait… who is David Clennon?? No, really. Anyone heard of this douche?

Tell you what, David. Go ask Hamas how much they like your support, you ignorant piece of s**t!
