A new TV series reveals celebrities who have apparently had encounters with the paranormal, from “America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel, who talks about a spirit in his home targeting his young daughter, to actor Hal Sparks, who connects a childhood encounter with aliens to his work in showbiz.

The show is Travel Channel’s “Famously Afraid,” which premieres Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Also on the list are Steve Guttenberg, Tori Spelling, Montel Williams, Richie Ramone of the Ramones, Todd Bridges of “Diff’rent Strokes,” “SNL’s” Chris Kattan, actor Jake Busey and many others.

“For many of these celebrities, it is the first time they are choosing to share their personal accounts with the paranormal,” said Matthew Butler, general manager of Travel Channel. “From unexplainable encounters to strange run-ins with spirits, even superstars can have terrifying experiences with the supernatural, and we are excited to share these spine-tingling stories with Travel Channel’s viewers on ‘Famously Afraid.'”
