All 16 of the new fall shows that recently premiered on the broadcast networks are ranked from best to worst in a new reader survey published by E! News. The shows all debuted on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and the CW.
Coming in as the most loved show among the site’s readers was Fox’s “Prodigal Son,” with a “loved it/hated it” ratio of 91 percent to 38 percent. The report noted that as of the time it was published “Prodigal Son” was the only one of the 16 new shows that had been given a full-season order.
The bottom spot in the rankings is occupied by the NBC comedy “Sunnyside,” with a “loved it/hated it” ratio of 57 percent to 43 percent. As we reported earlier this week, NBC has pulled “Sunnyside” off the broadcast schedule and moved it to the network’s digital platforms.
Also ranking among the best shows are ABC’s “Stumptown” at No. 2, Fox’s “Almost Family” at No. 3, ABC’s “Mixed-ish” at No. 4 and ABC’s “Emergence” rounding out the top five.
Other bottom dwellers include Fox’s “Bless the Harts” at No. 15 and CBS’s “Bob Hearts Abishola” at No. 14. Fox announced today that it has picked up “Bless the Harts” for a second season.
