Comedy Project Examines Race in America

Nov 7, 2019  •  Post A Comment

A project that was just greenlighted is being described as a docu-comedy exploring the state of race in America. “How Not to Get Shot and Other Advice From White People” got the go-ahead from Comedy Central.

D.L. Hughley will executive produce and star in the project, which will follow him into the field to examine the issue. The special is based on Hughley’s New York Times bestselling book of the same name.

Hughley previously worked with Comedy Central on the Peabody Award-winning 2012 special “D.L. Hughley: The Endangered List.”
