A showstopping moment took place during Wednesday night’s Country Music Association Awards when country legend Willie Nelson was joined onstage by Kacey Musgraves for a duet of the “Sesame Street” staple “Rainbow Connection.” The performance is being called the ceremony’s sweetest moment.
Musgraves was one of the ceremony’s top honorees, winning female vocalist of the year along with music video of the year, for her own similarly titled “Rainbow.”
