Elon Musk, co-founder and CEO of the U.S.-based automotive company Tesla, is feuding with the TV show “Top Gear” after the show aired a drag race between a Tesla Model S and a Porsche Taycan and the Tesla lost the race.

You can see a video of the drag race between the two electric sports cars below — the race is near the beginning of the clip.

Musk reportedly sent out a tweet saying: “Show should be called ‘Low Gear’!”

Business Insider reports that Musk is siding with the website DragTimes, which posted a video challenging the “Top Gear” results. Among other criticisms of the “Top Gear” broadcast, DragTimes suggested that the Tesla may not have been in full race mode, known as Ludicrous Plus mode.

“‘Top Gear’ responded to criticism of the segment on Thursday, saying it had turned on Ludicrous Plus for the Model S and that the Taycan beat the Model S in all five of the drag races it ran,” Business Insider reports. “While the 0 to 60 mph, 0 to 100 mph, and quarter-mile times displayed for the Model S were from a prior race, they were faster than any of the times achieved during the five most recent races, the show added.”

Business Insider adds: “According to Tesla, the Model S’s performance trim can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds and has a top speed of 163 mph, while Porsche says the Taycan’s performance trim can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds and has a top speed of 161 mph.”
