New York Transportation Authority Hits the Brakes on A&E Subway Series New York Times

A reality series about the people who work on the Metropolitan Transportation Authority subway system in New York City has been delayed after a month of filming, reports the New York Times.

A 15-minute pilot was in the works that would showcase a potential series about the New York City subway. However, the MTA has halted production based on financial worries. 

The project hasn't been canceled, but the obstacles have proved to be considerable. A&E expressed confidence in the potential for the series. MTA has pushed for the series as well, hoping to put a human face on the transit system.
