To promote "Today’s” new website, the "Today" show will produce a second show that will air only on the Web, reports The New York Times’ Media Decoder blog.

The Web-based "Today.com Show" will be a one-time production and will air from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, the story notes. The show will be hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, who are presenters on the 10 a.m. hour on NBC, and will look at what goes on behind-the-scenes at "Today," according to Jim Bell, the executive producer of "Today."

The story notes that the redesigned website emphasizes more video clips from "Today" than the site featured in the past.
