Sep 19, 2008  •  Post A Comment

ABC News cut a “handful” of employees at its Washington, D.C., facilities because more nighttime operations have been moved to New York since former anchor Ted Koppel departed the network, Broadcasting & Cable reports, citing people it didn’t identify. ABC News, which declined to comment, has moved the handling of commercials and much of the camerawork for anchor Terry Moran’s reports to New York’s control room from Washington, B&C reports.
