Chart: Primetime Regular Series Median Age Trends (October-May)

The median age of viewers tuning in to the broadcast networks continues to rise, according to a new report from ad buyer Magna Global. While CBS remains the network with the highest median age, ABC and NBC are catching up and Fox is above the 40-year-old threshold, Magna says. The chart also shows that when time-shifted viewing is included, the median age of viewers goes down by about a year in most cases, compared to live viewing only.
