The late Joan Rivers had been in conversations — before she became unexpectedly incapacitated on Aug. 28, 2014 — about becoming Judge Joan, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.
Bravo’s on-air-personality and producer Andy Cohen “revealed he was working on a Judge Judy-style show with the late Joan Rivers,” the Post reports.
Cohen made the remarks “during a conversation with [CNN’s] Anderson Cooper on Friday night [Nov. 14, 2014], at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan.” Over the years that “Y” has become known for it speaker series with celebrities.
The story adds: “We’re told Cohen explained the reality show was slated to be called ‘What’s Your Problem?’ and that Rivers would be a Judge Judy-type character who judges real-life ‘Real Housewife’-types who have problems with each other.”
